La historia de La Parrala

During the post-war in Spain there was a playful and catchy tune in the air, playing on the radio of each and every household, it's lyrics were hummed by everybody, its tune was whistled in every street and children playing in the street used to sign it. That happy copla was not a detailed chronicle of the darkest Spain of the XIXth Century.

It's verses unrolled the tragic story of La Parrala, the best flamenco cantaora for siguiriyas, she who’s character was marked with fate, sin, mock, passion, nights scenarios and the blood of her lovers. The Parrala in the copla was a beast of two heads: Trini and Dolores; the lyrics joined and mixed the history and legend of both characters without us being able to distinguish how much there is of one and how much of another.

La Parrala Paella Bar opens its doors in 2012, as the initiative of Carola, Kiki and Pedro to create a family business. What unites us in this project is the idea of offering quality services, a warm and inviting environment, giving primacy in any case to catering possibilities. For the enjoyment of our diners, clients and friends we open a new restaurant in which we hope to continue offering the best service, friendliness and attention to detail. Contributing to Granada's catering offer as one of the best restaurants in which to enjoy paella, rices and local products.
